More and more, Charley Brewster, a dedicated fan of the TV series "Fright Night" and die-hard horror aficionado, becomes convinced that his mysterious new next-door neighbour Jerry Dandrige is a blood-sucking vampire. And ridiculed for his preposterous accusations, Charley soon turns to Peter Vincent, his all-time favourite hero and former movie vampire hunter, to lend him a hand. However, the show's grizzled host is sceptical. As the phoney vampire slayer accepts Charley's invitation to prove him wrong, before long, Vincent reaches a shocking, eye-opening conclusion: there are a million reasons to be afraid of the dark.
