Good Mother

Nora, a cleaning lady in her fifties, lives in a housing estate in the northern districts of Marseille. Her little family is everything to her and things would be for the best if her eldest son didn't cause her serious problems. He is indeed incarcerated for robbery and is awaiting trial, torn between hope and anxiety. Despite the shame of having a son in prison, Nora does her utmost to support him in this ordeal.—Guy Bellinger
